Babe size: size of a sweet potato..

Total weight gain/loss: I am at the same weight as my 13 week check up

Movement: I have felt the baby more several times. I wish Cole could feel it.

Food cravings/aversions: still pickles and Chili's chips and queso

Pregnancy Symptoms: Headaches, leg cramps, and red/dry skin on my chin

What I miss: Being able to sleep without having to pee every two hours.

What I'm looking forward to: Cole being able to feel the baby move, decorating the nursery, and shopping for stuff for the nursery

Best moment this week. When our dog, Kujo, lays his head on my stomach. I read that dogs can hear the baby's heartbeat. Aubrey is going to have to get use to the snoring, might as well start early. It takes awhile to get use to his LOUD snoring.

I felt the baby move

Last night I was laying in bed and I felt the baby move. This is my first pregnancy so I wasn't sure if what I felt was really the baby moving. So I started talking to the baby asking him/her to move again. I felt the same movement again. It felt like I was being kicked. So what do I do. I ran in the office and told Cole I just felt our baby move, then I got on Facebook and asked if it was even possible for me to feel the baby move at 17 weeks. Everyone said yes. I remember my doctor telling me at the last visit I should start feeling the baby move, but it could feel like several different things and some people might not feel it for sure til after 18 weeks..

I am so excited. This is a first for me and lets just say I got a little teary eyed. I can't wait for Cole to be able to feel our baby. People, on Facebook, started telling me stories about how I will be able to see their little foot and hands when they move a little further down the line. I think at first it might kind of weird me out.

1 more week til we know what we are having.. This is taking FOREVER..

What's going on..

These next few weeks are going to be CRAZY..

June 18 - niece #3 was born
July 27 or August 1 - niece #4 will be here
July 31 - my hubby and I will celebrate our 1year anniversary . I can't believe its been almost a year since we got married.
August 5 - We find out if we are having a BOY or GIRL
August 7 - I turn 25 - I am a little scared of turning 25.. I know its not old, but it makes me feel old. I'm sure I might cry or throw a hissy fit

I seriously know 19 people that are pregnant right now, or that have had a baby in the last two months.. There must be something in the water.

Note to self -  Start taking belly pictures.

Husband comment #2

My husband cracks me up sometimes.. This is one of our many strange conversations.

He recently got a new paintball gun and was shooting it, at the fence, in the back yard. He comes inside and says ...

Cole: Come outside and run around so I can shoot you with my paintball gun..
Me: NOOOOO ! What if you hit my stomach?
Cole: I'll just aim for your head.
Me: You could hurt the baby or put a dint in it's head
Cole: Nah.. You will be ok.
Me: So you want our baby to have a dint in its head??
Cole: No. I just want to see you try to run and shoot you with a paintball gun..
Me: Thanks hunny I love you too.

Gotta love him :)

Husband Comment #1

After last nights comment from my husband, I think I am going to learn how to fake cry.

Cole: You look like a beached whale (I was laying on the bed, eating a bag of chips)

Me: Thanks!! I can't wait to hear what your gonna say when I'm 9 months pregnant

Cole: Your Welcome

Me: You better be glad I know your joking and I'm not all hormonal, or I would have gone all ape sh*t on you.

Cole: Yeah Yeah.. You know I love you

I am so glad that I have not been an emotional pregnant lady.. I do have my days where I cry watching a TV show, but those days do not happen that often.

13 weeks check up

So today we went in for our monthly check up. We thought we were going to hear the heart beat, but we were unable to hear it. So the nurse took me to do a ultrasound, and we got to see the heartbeat !! Our baby now has arms and legs and he/she even raised its arm for us . The picture isn't that great, but you can see its little arm raised.

GOOD NEWS!!!! We find out what we are having AUG 5

How far along: 13 weeks

Babe size: size of a peach

Total weight gain/loss: I lost another 7lbs - this is due to eating better and not drinking soda

Sleep: I sleep any chance I get. I'm still exhausted all day.

Movement: No movement yet. The doctor told me I should be able to fill the baby move within the next 2 weeks

Food cravings/aversions: pickles and Mexican food

Pregnancy Symptoms: The puking is almost over with. I get sick every now and then. Now its just headaches all the time.

What I miss: Being able to button my jeans. I am not yet in maternity cloths, so i am wearing my normal jeans. So when I set down I have to unbutton my pants because they are too tight.

What I'm looking forward to: Our next appointment. We find out what we are having. I am hoping for a boy. Cole says he doesn't care either way.

Milestones: I have started eating a a lot better. I am trying more food.

Best moment this week. When Cole touched my stomach and started talking to the baby.

I am starting to get a baby bump. Pictures to come soon.
